Becoming a Stonewall Volunteer

Whether you’re an individual, a couple, a family or a company we’ve got volunteer opportunities for you! We have several volunteer opportunities including:

• In office Support: Data Entry, Office Administration, Mailings

• Special Event Volunteer: Hands-on support for scheduled activities & community event ie. Pride, Trans Month

• Group Facilitators

• Professional Skill: ie photographers, writes (newsletter support), educators, layers, graphic designers etc.

• Resistance Squad: open to taking direct action to protect LGBTQ+ rights

Step 1: Fill Out Our Volunteer Application.

Once you have filled out the application, you’re eligible to come to a training. You don’t need to wait for any verification. All of our trainings take place at the Stonewall Center, 358 E. 6th street. We have one training per month. You don’t need to bring anything with you. After you’ve completed a training, you will be added to our active volunteers list.

Step 2: Choose one of these upcoming volunteer training dates, and attend:
