Meet the Group Facilitators!

Julian

Julian (he/him) is a local artist, community-based art teacher, and Stonewall group facilitator.

Julian also serves on our Board of Directors, runs multiple groups, and frequently hosts art-based activities in service of the community in collaboration with Stonewall Chico.

Maria

Maria is a social work student at Chico State and is very excited to be an intern at Stonewall. She values the opportunity to connect with and support members of the LGBTQIA+ community and looks forward to expanding her advocacy knowledge while supporting her community through Stonewall.

Bailey

Bailey (she/her) has lived in Chico since 2013. She is the proud parent of two young adults and stepparent of one almost-teenager. Bailey lives with her partner and (as of this writing) one very plump cat. She is honored and humbled to be able to spend time with Chico’s queer teens and enjoys cooking, skiing, musical theatre, and road trips involving getting lost with purpose.

Trish

Trish (she/her) is a proud Butte County native who grew up in Gridley and brings both heart and energy to her work with LGBTQ+ teens. A graduate of Chico State with a degree in Public Relations, she combines strong communication skills with a natural ability to connect authentically with young people. For the past four years, she has worked as a paraprofessional supporting elementary students with special needs, building a foundation of patience, compassion, and advocacy that guides her facilitation style. Trish is passionate about creating spaces where teens feel safe to be fully themselves, explore their identities, and build meaningful community. Outside of her professional work, she's a devoted pop culture enthusiast and board game lover who believes laughter, creativity, and a little friendly competition can go a long way in bringing people together.

Lilly

Lilly is from Chico and has grown up with Stonewall in a deeply personal way. Having attended Stonewall’s teen groups during her own teen years, this moment feels incredibly full circle. It is an honor for her to now be in a position to give back and help create the same welcoming and affirming space that once meant so much to her. She has always valued the sense of community Stonewall brings into her life and is genuinely excited for this opportunity.
